Everybody has heard the phrase ‘a picture says a thousand words,’ and this week we teamed up with excellent Marlow photographer, John Hollidge, to illustrate just how powerful, professional photography can be for commercial property marketing.
We believe professional photography is a key part of the marketing campaign for all commercial property disposals and aim to make searching for the right commercial premises as easy as possible for our applicants by showcasing our portfolio in the best possible light, while providing a true representation of the condition of the premises.
All commercial property including offices, industrial, retail and pubs can come alive with the correct photographic angle, lighting and know how. Here we share just a few thoughts on commercial property photography including our before and after shots to prove our point!
- There is no second chance to make a first impression, so commercial property images should capture interest from the first view.
- Great photos catch applicants’ eyes and entice them to view the full listing, leading to more enquiries, viewings and eventually, deals completed.
- Listings should have a good range of shots including inside and outside of the property, creating a virtual walk through. This helps give applicants a true view of the premises and allows applicants to make informed decisions on which properties to shortlist.
- Using drone photography to get above the building, will really show off the size and space of the plot available
Good photography will strike the right balance between reality, expectations and casting the premises in the best light. Even a distressed property can come alive with the right angle of shot.
